A COVID-19-positive woman was found drink driving with two others in the car on early Sunday morning, ACT Policing says.

Police say the woman was under home quarantine restrictions, and has been charged with both drink driving and breaching ACT health directions.
The two passengers have been ordered into home quarantine.
More than 40 drivers were turned around after more than 7400 vehicles were checked on Thursday and Friday, ACT Policing said.

On Sunday, officers conducted a compliance operation on the western edge of the city.
Police said around 250 vehicles at the Cotter and Uriarra nature reserves were turned around as these locations were closed for exercise.
Many people admitted they had not checked on the status of the parks and reserves, and assumed they could still visit these places.
