The territory's deputy chief health officer Vanessa Johnston said Canberra's outbreak had grown to 674 cases, with 463 people recovered and 211 active cases.
Chief Minister Andrew Barr has indicated that rapid antigen testing will play a role in stifling the spread of the virus among fully vaccinated people in the future.
It followed chief health officer Dr Kerryn Coleman on Tuesday revealing 40 per cent of COVID-19 cases were waiting two or more days to come forward for testing, while 10 per cent of cases waited five or more days.
