The 2021 Japanese Film Festival's Canberra season is scheduled to take place from October 28 to November 2, with films screening at Palace Electric Cinemas and the National Film and Sound Archive. Films include comedies, dramas, thrillers, musicals and documentaries. Entries for the online exhibition Place Unframed - artists investigating the concept of place - are open until November 1. Entries for the Cosmos and Critters Youth Art Prize - depicting imaginary worlds and creatures - close on November 8. Age squads will be five to eight years, nine to 12 years and 13 to 17 years. The National Gallery of Australia's Art from Home program has been developed by artists in collaboration with the gallery's learning team.
