The ACT reported 32 cases on Monday. At least nine spent some time in the community and six remain under investigation.
The territory is also at 97.8 per cent of Canberrans aged 12 and older with a first dose.
Canberrans are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel as October 15 approaches.
In its ninth week of lockdown, the ACT is taking its first steps on its pathway forward.
It comes as the territory is praised as a world-leader with "stunning" vaccination rates, and as many Canberra businesses prepare to host most of their customers via alfresco arrangements from Friday.
On Sunday, the ACT recorded 30 new cases as a man in his 50s from Southern NSW died at Canberra Hopsital. Up to 8pm Saturday night, 15 people were in hospital, six in ICU and five on ventilators.
At the weekend, some Canberra businesses in dire need of a cash influx expressed concern that cautious customers would "watch and wait" when shopping abilities increased across the territory.
There are now 380 current exposure locations in the ACT, with a bus route and Majura Park supermarkets among those most recently added.
Meanwhile, NSW's harsh lockdown conditions have begun to lighten, with the so-called 'Freedom Day' being marked in the state today.
