The under-10s will be the first to get on the court with their first match on October 31.
Senior social leagues will start up again on November 8 and the senior premier league will resume later in the month.
The announcement comes after the ACT government eased lockdown restrictions earlier this week. Organised sport is set to resume across the territory on October 29.
Clubs were sent a memo on Thursday notifying them of the return to competition, with limited outdoor training set to resume on October 25.
Instead of moving the summer season early, Basketball ACT has elected to finish its winter season. Most competitions will finish in either later November or early December, depending on the number of rounds left to play.
Summer competitions are set to start in January 2022. Basketball ACT will make an announcement on October 22 with further details.
