The Raiders star pleaded guilty but avoided a conviction, instead copping a three-month suspension from driving and a $500 fine.
Rapana was caught driving along Bradman Avenue in Maroochydore on September 27, and admitted to police he had been drinking before getting behind the wheel. He blew a reading of 0.098, deemed on the upper end of low-range readings.
Now NRL officials will delve into the matter, with Rapana at risk of a monetary fine and potentially missing the beginning of Canberra's 2022 campaign should a suspension be deemed necessary.
The integrity unit is in a position to make a call on Rapana's fate now the court process is complete.

Magistrate Matthew McLaughlin acknowledged Rapana's standing as a professional rugby league player, adding: "I accept that they will punish you for this because ... you are seen as a representative of the club and the sport in general and they clamp down on anyone that misbehaves in public."
Rapana has re-signed with the Raiders until the end of the 2023 season, and he claimed the Mal Meninga Medal as the club's player of the year this year.
His sentencing comes after Raiders hooker Tom Starling was arrested on the Central Coast, with the 23-year-old facing charges of threatening a potential witness and offensive behaviour from an alleged incident in Terrigal.
