A gifted flyhalf with natural talent and an instinctive nature like few others makes his first start against a tier one nation when he pulls on England's No. 10 jersey against Australia on Sunday morning [AEDT].
But there's another rising playmaker desperate to make a statement of his own in recalled Wallaby Noah Lolesio, who not so long ago was left behind as Australia took off for a Spring Tour.
Lolesio answered an SOS from Wallabies coach Dave Rennie after Quade Cooper withdrew from the UK leg of the tour, and now he is on the cusp of a Test return off the bench behind James O'Connor.
"He's been really good. Obviously we've brought him back into the mix, he gives us genuine 10 cover," Rennie said when asked about Lolesio's return to camp.

"He's someone who has been in our system a lot and got a really strong knowledge around our structures. It's been good having him back in, he's excited and ready to go."
O'Connor starts despite a subpar showing against Scotland last week. Kurtley Beale starts at fullback as Andrew Kellaway shifts to the wing to cover for the injured Jordan Petaia, allowing for Lolesio to return off the pine.
"I think James was probably mixed last week and we've all had a discussion around that," Rennie said.
"It's more around connection, making sure we're connected to the forwards in front, the quality of communication coming from outside. All our shot callers have sat down, we've gone right through the game, looked at all our option takings and connections. I think we'll be better for it.
"James has certainly trained well, he's experienced and he's smart, so he'll make the adjustments. We can expect a high-quality performance from him on Saturday."
