
Snake Gully Cup runner-up Upper House has been slugged with the 61.5kg topweight for Sunday's $45,000 Queanbeyan Cup.
The in-form Norm Gardner-trained seven-year-old will lead a Canberra raid on the country Cup, which also includes Nick Olive's Invincible Dash (56kg), Todd Smart's last-start winner Tobermory (55kg), and Keith Dryden's Wichita Warrior (55kg).

Local trainer Joe Cleary, who won his home-town Cup with Havaduel 12 months ago, has entered Subtly Spring while fellow Queanbeyan trainer Mick Smith potentially has a two-pronged attack with Pahruli and Hello China.

John Thompson mare Etheridge leads the Sydney charge, after a last-start third placing in Class 4 grade at Hawkesbury. She'll be required to carry 56.5kg, should Thompson accept on Thursday.
A wet Queanbeyan Cup is expected this weekend, with 25-40mm forecast to fall across the region on Sunday. That's expected to follow up to 20mm on Saturday.
