It seems Canberrans like fried chicken. Or at least, fried chicken from one particular restaurant.

The results of Menulog's annual restaurant awards - the Menulogies - were announced on Tuesday with Braddon's Fricken picking up the ACT's People's Choice Award.
The category was decided by more than 8000 votes cast for favourite local takeaways across the nation.
However, Canberra's awards didn't stop there. Rashays in Greenway was also named the winner of Best New Dish of the year, with its mouth watering Biscoff Apple Crumble Pizza.
This award - and others in what has been labelled Menulogies' Trending categories - were selected from data from the past year. More specifically, the store's dessert pizza was the most ordered dish using a new trending ingredient - in this case, Biscoff.
And just for a bit of a giggle - or if you're looking for restaurant ideas for an upcoming holiday - here's who won some of the more interestingly named categories.
The Best Meal To Order After Getting Dumped award went to Loz's Fish and Chip Shop in Sunbury, Victoria for its Dinner for One. This went to the most popular meal ordered on December 11, 2020, which is statistically the most common day for breakups. (It's just an appropriate coincidence that this dish is specifically for one).
The Best Munchies To Order At 4.20pm award went to the Sneaky Signature Burger from Sneaky Burger Co in Albion Park, NSW. This was the most popular meal ordered on average at 4.20pm over the past year
The Best Noods Sent was awarded for Kinn Green Hills in East Maitland, NSW for its spicy noodles. As one would suspect, this is the most popular noodle dish ordered in the past year.
Top Cuisines Ordered While Watching Award Shows was taken out by Hanson Pizza and Pasta Bar in Woodville North, South Australia for its chicken schnitzel. And this was the most popular meal ordered during the Academy Awards, Grammys and Emmys in 2021.
