Members of the public showed up to the Canberra Show in 1991 to display an array of skills, competing in crafts exhibitions, canine exhibitions and cattle exhibitions. Some were there to work, fixing ferris wheels and packing up merry-go-rounds, while others, like 3-year-old Richard Auckland, befriended plastic blow-up ninja turtles.
