Travelrite's Exploration of The Kimberley, Kakadu & Katherine will showcase some of the planet's most pristine, awe inspiring landscapes.

DAY 1: The tour kicks off with tour members making their own way to Broome. Upon arrival you'll be met by a private coach and transferred to the hotel for check in. This evening you'll meet your fellow travelers and enjoy a Welcome Dinner.

DAY 2: On the second day you will enjoy an escorted tour of Broome, seeing all of the major attractions including Chinatown, the Pearl Luggers Museum, the modern town and the old courthouse. You will also visit Gantheaume Point, at the southern end of Cable Beach - where you will discover authentic dinosaur footprints preserved in rock and take in commanding views of the coastline - before an afternoon visit to a local pearl farm.

DAY 3: Have your bucket list handy as you fly to the famous Horizontal Falls. You'll take an amazing fast boat cruise to the falls and stunned by the incredible forces of one of the world's largest tidal movements as your highly experienced skipper navigates your boat back and forth through the Horizontal Falls. Have your camera ready as your one-hour return flight takes off from Cockatoo Island, flying low across the Horizontal Falls for an unmatched view of the Kimberley.

DAY 4: Late in the morning you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Kununurra, where you'll stay for the next four nights.

DAY 5: This morning starts with a sightseeing tour of Kununurra and surrounds. In the afternoon you'll travel to Wyndham - the oldest and northern-most town in the Kimberley region - where you'll take in spectacular views of the Cambridge Gulf, from Five Rivers Lookout.

DAY 6: Today is another day where you'll want that bucket list handy, when you visit the World Heritage Listed Bungle Bungles. You'll fly over the Bungle Bungles and experience spectacular aerial views of Purnululu National Park. You'll then enjoy a moderate 3km guided walk amongst the famous eroded towers and black and orange banded beehive structures on the Domes Walk. Your guide will take you into Cathedral Gorge, where towering cliffs open up to form a space with awe inspiring natural acoustics. Here you will rest and enjoy your lunch. You'll then walk along the bed of Piccaninny Creek, which flows only in the monsoon waterfall season.

DAY 7: This morning starts with a coach ride through Durack country, stopping off at the historic Argyle Downs Homestead Museum. From there it's onto Lake Argyle, which you can view from a scenic location. Crossing the Ord Top Dam wall, you will see the Ord Hydro-Power Station before boarding the Triple J Tours boat for a scenic 55km cruise back to Kununurra. You'll enjoy afternoon tea at your riverside camp before heading back down river, taking in a colourful East Kimberley sunset before docking back at the marina.

DAY 8: Today you'll travel to Darwin, where you'll enjoy a city tour before checking into your hotel and relaxing.

DAY 9: Today you'll depart Darwin and cross the Marrakai Plains to one of Australia's most impressive environmental wonderlands, the World Heritage site, Kakadu National Park. You'll be blown away by the superb landscapes, swarms of wildlife, and some truly magnificent Aboriginal rock art.

DAY 10: Today you'll travel to Nourlangie Rock to view Aboriginal art followed by a visit to the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre. You will then enjoy a guided cruise on Kakadu's Yellow Water billabong before continuing on to Katherine.

DAY 11: Today you will travel by boat along part of the spectacular Katherine Gorge! Located in Nitmiluk National Park, this is one Australian outback's crowning jewels, winding 12km, with walls more than 70m high! You'll then visit the Katherine Outback Heritage Museum. The evening will be capped off by a farewell dinner. In the morning you'll travel back to Darwin before flying home.

The tour will take place next year between July 18 and 29, and again between September 20 and October 1.
