Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith said that, as a result, the ACT would put the easing of restrictions on hold but were not currently looking at re-introducing more restrictions.
She told ABC Radio Canberra on Tuesday morning that compulsory mask wearing indoors was being considered but no decision had been made.
The minister said ACT Health would monitor testing across the ACT, with high demand at the EPIC testing facility over the past few days.
This comes as 180 close contacts linked to a positive Omicron case at Lyneham Primary School were tested following a positive Omicron case linked to the school.
A second Omicron case was confirmed in the ACT on Saturday, after the first for the territory was recorded on Friday evening.
There are currently no changes for travellers into the ACT.
