Police are searching for a man alleged to have robbed three people at knife point across Canberra during a five-hour spree.

The man is accused of mugging six people in in total between the hours of 9am and 2.30pm on Monday, December 6. The alleged robberies took place in the suburbs of Turner, Narrabundah and Hawker.
He stole mobile phones, cash, wallets and cigarettes, police said.
"The male offender used a knife to threaten victims on three occasions and made verbal threats during the other robberies," ACT police said.

The man was described as Caucasian in appearance, tall with a slim build, having short light-brown hair and being in his early 20s. He may also have a small beard.
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and any CCTV/dash-cam images of the robberies.
