As always, the dishes are all about good, simple Italian food that is best enjoyed with friends and family - a vibe that is completely embraced by the restaurant. It's relaxed, cheerful and full of life.

Kicking off the new dishes is the addition of insalata di polpo to the antipasti section.

There's something about seafood and summer that seems to go hand in hand - perhaps it's the idea of the beach that it evokes.

This particular dish is made up of succulent Western Australian octopus that has charred and slow-cooked, and served with fennel, parsley, fennel, oven-ripened tomatoes, dried olives and lemon olive oil.

Of course, it wouldn't be Italian food if there wasn't pasta, and this season's addition is the rigatoni alla toscana. The rigatoni pasta is served with Italian chilli and fennel sausage, cavolo nero, cream and tomato passata.

And for dessert, the latest addition is the profiterole alla nocciola. This large profiterole is filled with hazelnut mousse served with warm chocolate ganache.
