
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses, dash-cam and CCTV footage after an attempted aggravated robbery in Phillip on Sunday.
Police allege at about 10.20am, near the rear car park at Phillip Oval, off Irving Street, two men tried to carjack a vehicle from a female motorist.

Prior to the incident the offenders were allegedly seen playing with a chainsaw at the rear of a white-coloured vehicle which had its boot open.
One of the men then approached the female in her car and demanded she get out of it. He got in, however he was unable to operate the car.
A short time later the two males fled in the other vehicle.
