The new cases bring the active total to 1134.
This comes after 138 cases were announced on Wednesday and the previous record of 252 the day before.
There are six people in hospital because of COVID, with none in intensive care.
There were 3996 negative tests received in the 24 hours to 9am Thursday.
Meantime, the percentage of the eligible population who are now fully vaccinated has reached 98.5 per cent.

NSW has recorded 12,226 COVID-19 cases, as residents have been advised to only line up for PCR tests if they are unwell, or if they have been told to get tested by NSW Health.
The new cases were diagnosed from 97,201 tests undertaken in the 24 hours to 8pm on Wednesday.
There are 746 patients in hospital, 63 of them in ICU.
Victoria has set a record with another 13 deaths from COVID-19 and 5137 new cases.
There are 23,833 active coronavirus cases in the state and 395 patients in hospital with a seven-day average of 378.
A total of 55 people are in intensive care, with 23 of those on a ventilator.
