A new vintage store at Lake George Winery has been given the sweetest name - Mary-Go-Round.
Winery owner Sarah McDougall named the store after her mother, Marylou Pooley, who helped to inspire the venture, as both mum and daughter love scouring for antiques, collectibles and resuseables together.

Mary-Go-Round officially opens on Saturday - Marylou's birthday.
The new shopping experience is all about selling "pre-loved, upcycled unique pieces that need new homes". It is also selling artisans' work including repurposed wine barrels from Timber by Terry.
It's part of Sarah's new year's mantra - buy nothing new.
"That is my New Year's resolution, I've taken that on. And I guess it's just adding another element to Lake George. We're all about being sustainable here at the winery," she said. "So this is the next level of it."
As part of Saturday's launch, the Belco Jazz Band will be playing tunes in the wine cellar from 1pm to 4pm. As it's also Elvis' birthday, the band will be playing a few requests in honour of The King.

"Just a little celebration - here's to 2022," Sarah said.
New wines will also be poured, including a rose named Eloise after the six-year-old daughter of Sarah and her husband Anthony. The Westering Restaurant will be open and a bus will be available to take people to and from the winery for $40.

Mary-Go-Round will be then open to the public the same hours as the cellar door, 11am to 4pm, Thursday to Sunday.
