ACT Policing has released footage to assist in identifying two people allegedly involved in a suspicious fire in Rivett last month.

Police said that about 12.40am on Wednesday, December 22, ACT Fire and Rescue and ACT Policing attended Angophora Street, Rivett, and extinguished a fire that had engulfed two vehicles.
The recently released footage shows two people approaching the vehicles parked in the front yard of a home on the street.
They quickly pour a liquid on the vehicles, and set fire to both the vehicles and surrounding grass before running off, police said.

Both people in the footage are seen wearing dark clothing, hats and face masks, with one wearing a distinctive hoodie with the brand "Balenciaga" in white lettering across the back.
ACT Policing are urging anyone who can identify either of the people in the CCTV footage, or anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website and to quote reference 6993737.
