There were 885 PCR tests in this recording and 240 rapid antigen tests.
The new cases bring the active total to 4382.
There are 27 people in hospital because of COVID, with three of them in intensive care and three being ventilated.
The ACT is likely close to reaching a peak in new COVID-19 cases and hospitalisations, Chief Minister Andrew Barr said on Thursday.
The percentage of Canberrans aged 18 and over who have received booster shots has reached 28.1 per cent.
Indigenous vaccination rates are still lagging behind in the ACT.
Federal data suggest only 88 per cent of the estimated 5582 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the ACT have had two doses, while 90.7 per cent have received one dose.
In the Queanbeyan-Palerang region, 90.3 per cent of Indigenous people are fully vaccinated. About 90.2 per cent of First Nations people in Yass Valley are fully immunised.
A little more than one in 10 Canberrans aged five to 11 have had one dose of the vaccine, which is 4391 of the 38,789 young people in this age group, according to Department of Health data.

NSW has reported another 63,018 COVID-19 cases and a record 29 deaths on Friday, up from 22 deaths the previous day.
The number includes 25,080 positive rapid antigen test results, as well as 37,938 PCR tests.
There are 2525 patients in hospital, 184 of them in ICU.
In addition, NSW residents must now report any positive results they receive for COVID-19 rapid antigen tests.
Victoria has recorded another 18 deaths from COVID-19 and 34,836 new cases.
The record number of people in hospital jumped to 976, with 112 in ICU and 30 requiring ventilation.
Tasmania has recorded 1201 new COVID cases.
There are 24 people being treated in hospital, with 10 of those being treated specifically for virus symptoms. None are in intensive care.
The other 14 people in hospital have unrelated medical conditions.
The new cases, made up of 852 self-reported positive rapid antigen tests and 349 PCR tests, takes the number of active infections to 7439.
