Seventeen-year-old Chloe Lincoln has signed with Canberra United, following reserve goalkeeper Beth Mason-Jones' departure from the club, and says her contract is a dream come true.

Mason-Jones has been missing from the team sheet since the side's December 23 draw with Brisbane Roar, with Lincoln stepping onto the bench for the last two matches.
Lincoln has been training with the team since pre-season as a scholarship player, after an impressive season with the United Academy in the NPLW, before signing week.
"I have been so honoured to be immersed in such an amazing environment this season with incredible players, coaches, staff and supporters. To now be offered a full contract is a dream come true," she said.
"I have been so lucky to be surrounded by quality people who have enabled me an opportunity to develop my game and to learn what it means to be a part of something as special and unique as United. The girls work hard and have this connection and humility that I admire and am proud to be part of.
"My goal this season is to do everything I can to support the team to achieve the success they deserve. Keeley [Richards] is having an awesome season and I want to continue to help her in every way I can in every session and on game days. The coaches and more experienced players have been so approachable and supportive and I hope I can continue to learn as much as possible from them and this experience."

United head coach Vicki Linton on Thursday confirmed Mason-Jones and the club had come to a "mutual agreement" to terminate her contract, providing no further information behind the decision.
Linton congratulated Lincoln on her signing and said she was a great addition to the squad.
"Chloe is a talented young player and has come into this environment and straight away has looked right at home at this level," she said.
"She has a great mentality and mindset and has made the most of every day, learning from every experience. It's great that she now has the opportunity to experience the match day environment and I know that she will contribute positively to the team and continue to learn from the experience."
