Canberra hope hooker Josh Hodgson has suffered a meniscus injury rather than an ACL after leaving his side's five-point win against Cronulla in the first half with a knee injury.

Hodgson came from the field in the seventh minute and was seen clutching his right knee whilst in the hands of team doctors.
"It's on the outside of his knee and he's got pretty good stability in regards to the ACL side of it," Raiders coach Ricky Stuart said.
"From talking to the doctor, hopefully it might just be more the mensicus on the outside of the knee."
It could be a huge blow to the Raiders, who have already lost halfback Jamal Fogarty for at least four months with a knee injury.
Reserve hooker Tom Startling took Hodgson's place on the field.
Hodgson has signed for Parramatta from 2023 onwards.
