Jesse Mogg has emerged as the frontrunner to fill the void left by Tom Banks as some of the ACT Brumbies' most-lethal strike weapons put their hands up to don the No.15 jersey.

Star fullback Banks travelled home with the squad on Saturday but is likely to undergo surgery this week after suffering a suspected fractured cheekbone in a one-point win over the Western Force.
The 27-year-old is set to be sidelined for a crucial period of the season, with back-to-back Brisbane road trips and the return of trans-Tasman rugby on the horizon.
Mogg looms as the favourite to fill Banks' place at fullback but hat-trick hero Andy Muirhead says "I'll definitely put my hand up" ahead of a rematch with the Queensland Reds.
"Hundred per cent. I like that position but as everyone knows we've got a good replacement in Moggy," Muirhead said.
MORE RUGBY UNION
"I'm sure they won't shy away from giving him first crack at the 15 jersey until Banksy is back fit and firing. I'll definitely put my hand up but we've got someone like Moggy who can fit that position quite well."
The hearts of Brumbies fans will ache for Banks, who was controversially red-carded following the collision with Force winger Toni Pulu, which left the ACT star with facial fractures.
A broken arm brought last year's Test campaign to a premature end right as he began to truly make the No.15 jersey his own.
Now a fractured cheekbone is poised to keep him sidelined in the wake of one of his best starts to a Super Rugby campaign in his career.
But depth is arguably the ladder-leading Brumbies' greatest strength leading into the toughest part of their season schedule.
"There's probably a few options [at fullback] but I've been covering that role in the outside backs. I'll put my hand up if that's the way Dan wants to go. We'll see how we go this week but it's up to the coaching staff to do what's best for the team," Mogg said.
"We've obviously got the Reds up in Brisbane which will be tough, and then we're finishing off the first half of the competition with the Drua who are getting better and better each week. It'll be a tough next two weeks with both games away from home.
"Then we'll head into the bye, regroup and then start that trans-Tasman Super Rugby period which will be a good change up and a really good challenge.
"The Australian teams were quite disappointed with how it went last year in the trans-Tasman series. This year we're trying to build a base to hit the ground running in those games against the Kiwi sides. They're at a high level.
"It's definitely an exciting period for all the Australian sides. Winning games at the moment is building confidence within the group and we'll definitely aim to finish the season strong."
