As the major parties - and a range of minor parties and independents - vie for your vote on May 21, we'll be delivering our readers unmatched local and national coverage of the 2022 federal election.
Our focus will be the local candidates and the issues that matter most to our local community.
As part of the ACM network, Australia's largest independent news publisher, we'll also be bringing you national news and insights direct from the campaign trail.
ACM's federal politics team based at Parliament House in Canberra will join Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Labor's Anthony Albanese as they crisscross the country over the coming weeks.
Our reporters on the rival campaign buses will be asking the leaders questions and reporting their answers - guided by the issues our readers have told us are most likely to decide which way they vote.
Led by chief political correspondent Karen Barlow and featuring political analyst Mark Kenny, ACM's bureau of journalists in federal parliament includes specialists covering health, education, the environment, the economy, the public service, defence, housing and rural affairs: Harley Dennett, Doug Dingwall, Gerard Cockburn, Jamieson Murphy, Sarah Basford Canales, Dan Jervis-Bardy and Finn McHugh.

As the PM and his challenger travel around meeting and greeting voters and articulating their respective visions and policies, we'll be striving to give you a sense of who they are, how they relate to the public and how they respond to the pressure.
With ACM's network of 140 newspapers and websites stretching into every state and territory, we'll also be bringing our readers coverage of some of the key regional hot seats that could determine the result on May 21.
From the swing seats of Bass and Braddon in northern Tasmania to the keenly fought NSW electorate of Hunter being vacated by Labor veteran Joel Fitzgibbon, ACM's local journalists in these regions will offer unique perspectives on the contests.
From the independent seat of Indi on the NSW-Victoria border held by crossbencher Dr Helen Haines to the New England home town of Nationals leader Barnaby Joyce, nobody knows the candidates and the issues better than our reporters living and working in these communities.
As well as election news, we will also deliver you thought-provoking commentary from some of the country's best political minds, including Canberra Times political analyst Mark Kenny, former Liberal minister Amanda Vanstone and regular opinion columnists Jenna Price, Jack Waterford, Nic Stuart and Crispin Hull.
