The three-day event in Las Vegas will see the best NFL prospects find their new homes in one of 32 teams.
At nearly 2-metres in height and weighing 174kgs, Faalele is the largest offensive tackle in this year's draft, drawing comparisons to Philadelphia Eagles' lineman and former South Sydney Rabbitohs junior Jordan Mailata.
And if all goes to plan at the NFL Draft, Faalele could make history as the highest-ever Australian pick, surpassing Adam Gotsis who was selected 63rd overall back in 2016.
"He could go as high as the second round if a team want to invest in a young, developing O-lineman," Graham, a former NFL punter with the Arizona Cardinals, told The Canberra Times.
"He's a big boy, about 175 kilos. He's Jordan Mailata mark two.
"It definitely took time for Jordan Mailata, but once he got up to speed with the game and started, he's since signed that big $100-million contract and there'll be a lot more Jordan Mailatas coming along.
"Daniel is the next one."
However unlike Mailata who took a leap from league, to the NFL International Player Pathway Program, to being a seventh-round pick by the Eagles in the space of a year, Faalele has been working on achieving his dream much longer.
With the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers the 22-year-old has turned heads, with his basketball and rugby background laying the foundation for his skillset in a position Graham said is the most important on the field next to the quarterback.
"They essentially block the quarterback's blindside and set up the running game," Graham said.
"Daniel has taken the traditional college route and he made the All Big 10 First Team, so he's been recognised already as a standout performer.
"The knock on him is his quickness as a big man which you need playing tackle. Whether they persist with him there or make him a guard remains to be seen, but he's had a great college career.
"He'll definitely be drafted, it's just a matter of where."
