"I think we're ready," Hilder said during a visit to Canberra for the Blues Youth Leadership Program which has reached more than 2,000 high school students across NSW and the ACT.
"We're only going to two games next year, which will be interesting. But it's definitely at that stage to go to three.
"You've seen in the NRLW the quality we had. The game is growing really quickly, and we've got quality athletes.
"I'm big believer that we should be giving equal opportunities to women, just as the men get. They're taking baby steps, which is great, but we're getting there."
The Women's Origin fixture will be held in the capital for the first time this year on June 28.
NSW have lost the last two clashes and with both matches decided by a converted try or less, those who flock to the Friday night showdown can expect another thrilling contest says Hilder.
"We were really unlucky last year," she said.
"Not giving too much away but I'm excited with a couple of new faces that are coming into my side, and we're hoping to play a really fast and expansive game.
"It's great we're bringing Origin to Canberra. They're hoping to get that NRLW side here so to showcase what our game is about, it should be fun.
"I'm not too happy about how cold it's probably going to be though."
