Taliban budget predicts $A720m deficit

The Taliban have handed down their first budget which shows them $A720m in deficit.

Afghanistan faces a budget deficit of 44 billion Afghanis ($A722 million) this financial year, the country's Taliban authorities say, without clarifying how the gap between expected revenues and planned spending will be met.
