A Sydney man will face court after a domestic violence-related stabbing in the city's southwest.
Emergency services were called early on Saturday morning to a Sefton home that the 58-year-old shared with a 63-year-old man who had been stabbed in the neck.
The wounded man was hospitalised in a serious condition.
Police arrested the 58-year-old at the home and charged him with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail and will face Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
Police said the men were known to each other, lived together and classified the incident as a "domestic-related stabbing".
