Denmark's Prince Christian, the 16-year-old son of Crown Prince Frederik and Australian-born Princess Mary and second in line to the Danish throne, is to leave the Herlufsholm boarding school following reports of abuse.

The royals will also not be sending his younger sister to the school as previously planned, the DR broadcaster reported, based on a statement from the royal house on Sunday.
The prestigious boarding school favoured by the country's elite was the subject of a television documentary entitled "Herlufsholms hemmeligheder" (Herlufsholm's Secrets) broadcast by TV2 at the start of May, which detailed instances of physical violence, bullying and sexual abuse.
In it, former pupils described humiliating experiences, with older pupils attacking their younger peers at night.
The report led to the dismissal of the school's director and to planned reforms. Over the weekend, the entire directorate resigned in response to a critical report from Denmark's educational authority that threatened to demand the repayment of state funding.
Herlufsholm has been given until August 8 to respond to the report.
The crown prince and his wife said last month that they had been deeply disturbed by the report of systematic bullying and humiliation, adding that they had expected the school to provide an environment in which all felt safe and part of the community.
