The 2018 Canberra off-road cyclists ACT schools mountain biking titles have been run and won with a staggering 204 teams competing at Stromlo Forest Park on Friday.
The event is open to school children in years 6-12, with categories for the bumper event ranging from juniors (years six-eight), seniors (years nine-10) and college (years 11-12), with participants coming from as far as Batemans Bay, Sapphire Coast, Dapto and Wagga Wagga to compete.
Daramalan 8 finished on top of the pops when all categories were combined, with the senior male group completing eight laps in 2:23:23, while Chev Butchers won the college male title, and Chev Beats claimed the junior male championship.
Campbell High were the highest-ranking female team as they clinched the senior female title in 2:34:40, while VHS - Zooper won the junior female title.
Oxley College won the senior mixed championship in 2:14:42, CGS 6 the college mixed title and Campbell High came away with the junior mixed spoils.
