Canberra United have announced the signing of defender Hannah Brewer and young goalkeeper Georgia Boric ahead of the 2016/17 W-League season.
A one-time Matildas representative, Brewer lands in Canberra following stints at five top-flight clubs, three of which will now become rivals.
Canberra United head coach Rae Dower says Brewer's experience and professionalism has made for an easy transition into the squad.
"Hannah has been around the Matildas set-up previously and I hope that a really solid season for Canberra United can catapult her again to higher honours," Dower said.
Boric is bursting with excitement having graduated to the club's top side after coming through the ACT Academy of Sport and Canberra United's player development pathway.
"I can't wait for this season of the W-League, to get involved and show everyone what I'm made of," Boric said.
"I'm so excited for this opportunity."
The 18-year-old got a taste of W-League action last season, sitting on the bench for two games against the Western Sydney Wanderers and taking the field in a friendly with Singapore.
Canberra United's W-League season kicks off against Melbourne City at Canberra Stadium on November 12. The match is a curtain-raiser for the Central Coast Mariners' A-League clash with the Wellington Phoenix.
