The service is having an open day and field day competition on Sunday from 10am to 3pm.

It's at the ACTRFS helicopter base on David Warren Road, off the Monaro Highway, in Hume. That's right next door to the Snowy Hydro SouthCare Helicopter base.
Entry and parking are both free.

There will be firefighting displays and helicopter demonstrations as well as free face-painting, petting zoo and jumping castles.
Importantly, there will also be information on hand to help householders reduce their bushfire risk this summer.
