The sound of hammers, nails and saws has been drifting out over the tulips at Floriade this week.

Polly Porter and Waz Jones, who won the 2011 series of The Block have spent the last four days at the flower festival, conducting DIY workshops in the ActewAGL Look 'n' Learn tent.
And the enthusiastic pair have enjoyed their time in the national capital.
''The weather has been fantastic which we feel really lucky. We've only worn about a quarter of our suitcase,'' Waz, 29, said. ''Being Canberra, we overpacked with the 'warms' but we haven't really needed them.''
While the Floriade patrons have recognised them, so too did some young fans outside a pub after the couple took in a movie at the Dendy Cinema on Thursday night.
''They were singing their heads off and one of them recognised us and went 'Ahhhh!','' Waz said, with a laugh.
''Everyone's really lovely and that's probably the nicest thing about the whole process, that people feel comfortable enough to say 'hi'.''
The spin-offs from the reality renovation show have continued, with Waz completing a television pilot for a lifestyle show with good mate and fellow 2011 Blockhead, Rod Walsh.
''Because TV-land is fairly unpredictable, we've got to make sure we've got casual jobs on the side but we also get to do fun jobs like this [Floriade],'' Waz said.
Polly, 25, who also appeared on Celebrity Apprentice said she would happily become a PE teacher if their television and appearance work dried up. She originally worked in sport sponsorship while Waz worked in public relations and marketing.
''We really didn't expect it at all,'' she said, of the post-Block work. ''We feel really lucky and blessed that's been going on for almost 18 months. It's pretty cool that we get to do something that we loved that started as a 'Hey, what if?' and it's just continued.''
The couple used their $115,000 prizemoney from the show to buy an engagement ring for Polly, a Harley Davidson for Waz and a deposit on an apartment in Coogee. They'll get married in March in Sydney.
