More recently the notorious Burnie Court flats and the Fraser Court site were also redeveloped.
As forecast under the Public Housing Asset Management Strategy for 2012-2017, the Bega and Allaway Court and Currong Apartments in Braddon and Reid, the Northbourne Flats in Braddon and Turner and the Northbourne Housing Precinct in Dickson and Lyneham will all be redeveloped.
The ACT government also recently announced the redevelopment of a further four multi-unit public housing sites – Stuart Flats in Griffith, Gowrie Court in Narrabundah, Strathgordon Court in Woden and the Red Hill Flats.
The Community Services Directorate is also working with the Land Development Agency to have access to plans before the land is released in order to select the most cost-effective sites to develop.

The executive director David Collett said the government was also investigating working with the private sector to deliver projects such as in private public partnerships.
