Aggravated burglary at Gold Creek bottle shop captured on CCTV

A New Year's Eve smash and grab at Canberra bottle shop has been captured on CCTV. 

Three offenders wearing shirts wrapped around their faces forced their way into Canberra Cellars at Gold Creek in Nicholls about 4am last Wednesday.

CCTV footage of Canberra Cellars robbery

The moment when three unidentified assailants smashed their way into a Canberra bottle shop was captured on CCTV. Footage thanks to ACT Policing.

They smashed bottles of soft drink through the glass freezer cabinets before fleeing with armfuls of spirits and pre-mixed cans of Jack Daniels. 

The offenders are described as being a man and two women aged in their late teens or 20s. 

One female wore a black top, blue tracksuit pants and sandals while the second female wore a blue hooded jumper, yellow shorts and socks with sandals. 

The man wore a white and black T-shirt with white and black tracksuit pants and dark runners. The offenders covered their faces and hands with cloth during the incident.

ACT Policing has released the footage with the hope that members of the public will be able to identify the offenders.
