A man accused of stealing $25,000 worth of cigarettes after breaking into a supermarket in Canberra's inner south last month will face court on Friday morning.
Police arrested and charged the 34-year-old Narrabundah man on Friday morning after he allegedly broke into the IGA Supermarket in Kingston on December 9.
The owner found someone had broken into the supermarket after an alarm was activated shortly after 4am.
The back roller door to the supermarket had been damaged and cigarettes were scattered on the floor behind the front counter.
The man will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on charges of burglary and theft.
