The mother of an alleged abuse victim says she found her daughter with her top off after she was left with the husband of Australia's former ambassador to Spain.

Kapociunas, husband to former ambassador Jane Hardy, is currently on trial in the ACT Supreme Court over allegations he molested a young girl three times in the same day.
He has denied abusing the girl, saying he only tickled the child and blew raspberries on her stomach.
The girl's mother gave evidence in the trial on Tuesday, telling the court when her daughter first spoke about the allegations.
The mother approached authorities and then returned to Australia, where the child was interviewed by police.
She also told the court of an earlier incident while her children were with Kapociunas.
The mother said she found her daughter and a sibling with their tops off.
Defence barrister Bernard Collaery accused her of deliberately lying, questioning why she would have left her children with Kapociunas again if it was true.
She replied:
"In my mind it was harmless, she was only [age removed]."
"It would have been different if she was older."
Mr Collaery on Tuesday asked the mother why she hadn't spoken to her daughter again about the sexual assault allegations following their first conversation.
"I didn't see there was any benefit in me raising the subject with her, and possibly causing her more distress," the mother said.
"I was confident that she told me everything she felt confident saying at that point."
Earlier on Tuesday, a maid who worked for the ambassador said she saw the envoy's husband piggybacking the girl.
The Crown say Kapociunas indecently touched her on the outside of her clothing while giving her piggybacks, although he is not charged with those acts.
The maid, who now works for the new ambassador, was flown from Spain to give evidence in the trial.
She said she never saw Kapociunas and the child go into the bedroom together alone.
Mr Collaery asked her of her opinion of Kapociunas, and she responded:
"He's a good man, understanding."
Mr Collaery asked:
"Was he kind to you?"
She replied:
"Yes, sir."
The maid also told the court the home was very old and loud, with creaking floors and a heavy front door, and said she could see into the corridor on the day in question.
The complainant and a sibling were naughty, the maid said, fighting over the remote and television channels.
The girl had also left the door open when she went to the toilet, the maid said.
The trial continues before Chief Justice Helen Murrell on Wednesday.
