Mooseheads, King O'Malley's and the Hyatt Hotel were among the winners toasted at a hospitality awards evening held at Hotel Realm on Monday.

More than 400 people attended the 2013 Australian Hotels Association ACT Branch Hospitality Awards evening, celebrating the theme of "100 years of hospitality in Canberra".
The Hyatt Hotel and King O'Malley's Irish Pub were each awarded a Centenary of Canberra Award, while the Kremlin Bar took out best bar service employee and the prestigious John Press Award.
Hotel Realm was awarded member of the year, best restaurant service employee, best meetings and events hotel and best marketed hotel, while the newly opened East Hotel also took out a slew of awards, including best superior accommodation and best environmental practise. AHA ACT branch general manager Brad Watts said Australian Capital Tourism's Human Brochure campaign was awarded the best tourism initiative.
"Last night's awards ceremony recognised the highly successful Human Brochure social media campaign," he said.
"As part of the Australian-first social media campaign, the Human Brochure involved a range of leading hotels that hosted 250 interstate, social media-savvy Australians for two weekends."
Transit Bar was named best live music venue, while Mooseheads Pub and Nightclub was awarded best sporting entertainment venue.
Knightsbridge Penthouse took out two awards, best cocktail bar and best bar presentation and service, and Playground Martini and Tapas Bar was celebrated as having the best pub bistro.
Sage Dining Rooms was awarded the best prestigious restaurant, and Caphs Restaurant, Bar and Cafe was named best cafe restaurant. Stephanie Anderson
