The territory government has spent more than $1.2 million bringing in outside consultants to help fix ACT Health's latest data woes in the past 12 months.

Tender documents show PwC was the biggest beneficiary of the performance reporting problems, with the big four consulting firm scoring $1,235,017 across several contracts in the second half of last year.
The health directorate also awarded a $34,650 contract for data integrity and associated governance work to KPMG.
It comes as a team of at least eight staff are working internally on the system-wide data review Health Minister Meegan Fitzharris ordered in February this year, with senior health executives meeting monthly on the issues.
The data problems were first identified early last year, but the public was not told of the problems until after last year's election.
Ms Fitzharris ordered the review to investigate the root causes of the problem in February this year, after ACT Health failed to meet a key annual deadline to provide the performance reporting data to the Productivity Commission.
It has been more than 12 months since ACT Health has released any verified data about the performance of Canberra's health system, ranging from emergency department presentations to breast cancer screening.
ACT Auditor-General Maxine Cooper will also complete a fresh audit of ACT Health's performance reporting data problems this financial year, which would be the audit office's fourth review of various data problems in ACT Health in seven years.
The contracts awarded to PwC included a $501,000 contract to ensure ACT Health's performance data meets the commission's standards for its Report on Government Services and the National Minimum Data Set standards.
It also included a $392,861 job for PwC to validate all data for the 2015-16 financial year and a further $96,000 contract to independently validate data held in the directorate's performance and innovation data warehouse and review the controls in place.
Ms Fitzharris in June told the legislative assembly that the system-wide review was on track to be completed by March next year, and the health directorate had been "proactive" in addressing the problems.
She also said the team working on the review were reviewing and developing new policies, procedures and processes to ensure they were "robust and transparent", including writing a new 'informatics strategy' for ACT Health.
A spokeswoman for ACT Health said that some performance reporting data for the past fiscal year would be released in the directorate's annual report, but it is unclear what level of detail would be in that report.
She said the review was a priority for the directorate and the government and Ms Fitzharris would keep updating the community about its progress through the assembly.
Ms Fitzharris is expected to next update the assembly on progress on the system-wide review in September.
