Despite telling employees information about contracts and entitlements would be provided at site meetings on Thursday, pilots and crew still have not received an update just days before Christmas.

Receivers KordaMentha are seeking a buyer for the regional carrier, which temporarily stood down 140 employees, including 70 in Canberra, on Sunday.

All flights from the carrier to regional NSW and Canberra remain suspended.

In an email to stakeholders in the company, receiver Sebastian Hams said planned staff meetings would be rescheduled for Friday or Monday.

''The receivers are continuing to work with management and a skeleton staff to engage with interested parties to facilitate a positive outcome,'' he said.

''We appreciate your patience in the intervening period.''

Staff, speaking on the condition of anonymity while their employment remains uncertain, said they needed information to deal with mounting loan repayments and living expenses.

One staff member said he had personal loan repayments of $1100 per month, related to training for his work.

Mr Hams said on Monday the suspension would last a matter of days, not weeks, and that employees would not receive payments while stood down.

He confirmed the company did not hold enough assets to give employees their full entitlements if it was liquidated.

Passengers moved to rebook on flights with Qantas, Virgin Australia and Regional Express this week in attempts to salvage Christmas and New Year travel plans.

NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell and Transport NSW announced replacement emergency bus services to the towns not covered by replacement services on Brindabella routes.

On Wednesday, pilots called on the company's receivers to take on liability for personal loans entered into as a condition of their employment.

Pilots at the company were required to take out personal loans of as much as $30,000 as return for a service bond for training and expenses.

The Australian Federation of Air Pilots wrote to the receivers on Monday asking for the loans to be included as debts of the airline, not individual pilots.

There was no response from KordaMentha before deadline.
