She and her grandmother were among 2204 people who attended the Springtime Antiques and Collectables Fair last weekend.
Scarlett, aged four, purchased a collectable Royal Doulton Bunnykins statue which she decided was her favourite from the Macedo Books stand.
Her grandmother, Jenny Thomson, helped her make the transaction and though the item was officially titled the ''Sweetheart Bunny'' he was promptly renamed ''BG'' by the four-year-old.
Fair co-ordinator Les Selkirk said the final amount of money raised was still being counted and Rotary was already planning another two fairs - one in March and another in August 2013.
''The china, jewellery and bric-a-brac was very popular this time,'' he said.
''The next fair in March will raise money for Austism Asperger ACT.''
A four-day fair in August will be included in Canberra's centenary celebrations and will again raise money for Pegasus.
''The proceeds always stay here in Canberra for local charities,'' Mr Selkirk said.
