Canberra Avenue crash traps woman in car

Emergency services had to cut the roof off a car to rescue a woman trapped after a crash involving three cars and a motorbike on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 8.30am on Canberra Avenue, near Dalby Street.

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics were called to the scene and treated a woman for a fractured arm.

They took the woman to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.

Police said the motorcyclist appeared to not be injured.

Lanes towards Queanbeyan were initially closed on Canberra Avenue, and traffic was still affected as of 9.30am, when ACT Fire & Rescue were preparing to depart the scene.
