A Canberra bus driver has been left with a broken nose after he was assaulted by a passenger in Canberra's inner south.

ACT Policing are calling out for witnesses over the incident on an ACTION bus last month in Griffith.
A man punched the driver three times as he entered the bus on Captain Cook Crescent, at 10pm on November 13.
Police followed several avenues of inquiry relating to the assault but have now turned to the public for help.
The assailant was described as Sudanese in appearance and 183cm, with a slim build. He was wearing a white hooded jumper and dark pants.
