The Markets Wanniassa is celebrating its second birthday with activities from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, including a special appearance by Hephner the alpaca from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
Hephner lives a life of frolicking and fun at the Fletchers Ark Farmyard in Goulburn.
The Markets Wanniassa, the brainchild of Fiona and James Lester, opened in March 2017, giving many local artisans a bricks-and-mortar outlet to sell their wares.
Among the activities on Saturday will be an all-day craft table, face painting from 10.30am to 2pm, a bath-bomb-making demonstration from 10.30am to 11am, and lots of tastings of local fare.
There will also be a special appearance by Canberra's own Gabby Millgate, who found fame as Joanie "You're terrible Muriel" Heslop in Muriel's Wedding.
Gabby will be in the store on Saturday to meet with fans from 11am to noon.
