At only 21 years old, Margaret Zhang has gathered an impressive number of accomplishments under her belt. She's a law and commerce student, a fashion blogger, a stylist, a photographer, writer and general fashion superstar with her fingers in many pies.

Her main weapon of choice is Instagram, where she has more than 431,000 followers. And in June she's coming to Canberra to share her tips and tricks in an Instagram workshop at Canberra Centre.
"I'm really looking forward to meeting all my Canberra readers, and sharing a few of my top tips on photography in general, and a few more specific to Instagram," she tells, in between work trips to Singapore and Dubai.
While she was a late adopter of the app – "I was a BlackBerry faithful/addict that didn't have Instagram at the time," – it's now one of the things she's most known for, alongside her blog Shine By Three.
"At the time, Instagram was one of the only really immediate mobile visual sharing services around, so that level of communication to complement my website content was really appealing."
Growing up, Margaret always had her sights set high – she just wasn't completely sure what on.
"I trained to be a ballerina, so was a massive perfectionist – still am. When I stepped away from ballet, for a while there I just wanted to be a CEO because it sounded cool. I didn't really know what it meant, but I liked pantsuits," she says.
Anyone who follows her will know that she's still a big fan of the wide-legged pant. Through her own brand that she's created online, Margaret has worked with international companies including Nike, Visa, Net-a-Porter, David Jones, Mulberry, Shopbop and L'oreal Paris.
"Working with matchesfashion.com as a guest buyer and more recently, as one of the new faces of Clinique have been fantastic. I also have a really fantastic long term working relationship with Swarovski, which has been such a wonderful learning curve. Watch this space," she says.
Margaret's still Sydney-based for now, which equates to a lot of time spent on planes, but once she has finished uni, it's unlikely Australia will keep her for long.
"[The plan is to] move to the States, and take it from there," she says.
