And now the bakers, and the eaters, are being called on again for the Bison Bake Off.
The event forms part of Botanica, a month-long festival of events celebrating the home and the garden at the Bison Home studio and shop in Pialligo.
On October 8 there will be a fundraising baking competition open to the public – bring your best decorated cakes, cupcakes and biscuits in and try to win over the Country Women's Association judges.
There will be prizes for the winners, and a silent auction for the cakes, with proceeds from sales go to the women's charity Karinya House, which offers shelter to pregnant women and mothers in crisis.
