Chan Dissanayake's watercolour wipes away Goulburn's gloomy main streetscape

A painting in Bungendore Wood Works Galley recently extinguished my long-held frustration with Goulburn's central business district. Chan Dissanayake's "Storm over Goulburn" shows the main street exactly how I remembered it years ago while hurrying home from work in the rain. Instead of reviving cold memories, the painting, aglow with white and red splashes between elegant old towers, cuts through the gloom.
