Well, the editorial team and contributors at The Canberra Times did not hesitate to help Relax magazine hunt down the perfect gift ideas.

They donned their Christmas-thinking hats and come up with a fantastic range that has something for everyone - the quirky, the impossible, even the improbable.
From Dr Who cushions to beard oil, the collective mind of our staff reveal presence of mind for Canberrans in 2014.
So, relax and take a tour of what they searched high and low for to make gift-seeking that little bit easier:
- Lazy fun ideas, by Relax editor Karen Hardy. "You don't have to do much in the holidays but a few items can add to pleasant moments."
- Satisfying good lovers, by Food and Wine editor Natasha Rudra. "I've realised that there are several tribes of foodies. Here's something for all of them."
- Kids on the go, by Fleta Page, producer and busy aunt. "In my family, the trampoline is known as the babysitter and might be the best money you'll spend all summer."
- Sporting mad with beards, by David Polkinghorne, sports reporter. "Canberra not only produces some of the greatest athletes in the world, but it also some of the greatest beard oil now as well."
- For women, by Emma Macdonald, education editor. "To borrow a line from Lily Allen, I am a weapon of massive consumption."
- Spoil yourself, by Erika Bacon, editorial assistant. "These gifts are perfect for anyone who needs to take some time for themselves and relax."
- On song with music, by Ron Cerabona, arts reporter. "Tickets to local theatre companies are a good present - and something to anticipate"
- TV geeks, Dr Who fans, Emma Kelly, reporter. "Keep them happily occupied as they await to be whisked away to another planet or decade in a blue box."
- Avid gardeners, by Susan Parsons, Food and Wine writer. "Choose frog plants from Ginninderra Landcare website and join ACT Frogwatch."
- Experiences, by Megan Gorrey, reporter. "Do away with all that post-Christmas clutter? Opt for an experience instead."
- Colourful toys, by Emma Macdonald, education editor. "Totem tennis will get a good bashing in our household this year and at $12, who's complaining."
- Health and well-being, by Jil Hogan, life and entertainment reporter. "Any yogi would be thrilled to find a Lululemon yoga mat under the tree."
- Books, word's out, by Meredith Clisby, Allhomes editor. "These books have been picked as the perfect holiday reads – or stocking stuffers."
