Gallery of Gardens design chosen for National Arboretum Open Gardens Australia legacy

The first Open Gardens Australia Gallery of Gardens at the National Arboretum will feature a grassed marquee space, silver bowl bird bath and seating area designed by Canberra landscape designer Neil Hobbs.

Described as unmistakably Australian, the garden has been designed to embrace visitors and encourage exploration.

Seven themed gardens will be developed as part of the Gallery of Gardens initiative, selected from designs submitted from garden designers and landscape architects.

The project is a legacy to commemorate Open Gardens Australia, which is winding up after almost 30 years of operation.
