Gang Gang 50 years ago today: bakers in the news

Bakeries are never far from the headlines, it seems in Canberra, with a commercial bakery hauled before the ACT new specialised industrial court on Tuesday, after a customer was hit by a prime mover while picking up stale bread. Fifty years ago today, according to the Canberra Times, members of the ACT branch of the Bakers' Union were in the news for defying a court order to return to work.
