The final piece of The Hamlet puzzle will be added Thursday when The Barber Shop opens its doors at the Lonsdale Street pop-up venue.

The self-explanatory venture is the creation of Adi Putra, Satya Pratama, Kim Hoang and sits between existing stores Little Dreams and the Skeehan studio.
Putra, who has been cutting hair for 17 years, said the group wanted to create an old-fashioned, barber experience.
"We offer basic men's cuts, senior's cuts, kids cuts. We do hot towel shaves, shaves - anything to do with men's grooming," he said.
"Every barber shop we go to is like a salon, so we wanted to take this back to the basics."
With a men's cut for $25 or a hot towel shave for $25, Putra, who is the former head barber from Stylez Barbershop in Mawson, said The Barber Shop is all about his love to cutting hair.
"I love doing this, obviously doing it for 17 years - I've never got bored of doing it," he said.
Putra's cousin Pratama, who is studying graphic design at university, created The Barber Shop's logo and branding, and hopes to turn it into a larger brand.
"I'm planning on working with Adi - I'm going to be here at the shop being an assistant and learning to cut and then when I finish my degree we can turn the logo into stickers or T-shirts - I want to build a culture," he said.
The team commissioned fellow Hamlet residents boyandgirlco to create the fitout for the space, which was built at their Mitchell showroom and installed over the past week.
"I was thinking about all the things that a traditional barber had and it was always that wooden feel," Pratama said.

"Everything in there also I guess it complements the whole entire building. And if we ever move we can take the whole fitout with us."
The result is a masculine space, with cactii, a single barber chair and a barber's pole that Putra found on eBay.
The shop opens at 9am on Thursday, with bookings available 9am until late, Tuesday through Sunday.
"We have no closing time just yet. I'm just testing the waters to see how things run the next few months," Putra said.
"We want to do walk-ins and bookings, but it's just me cutting so it's good to book."
